Beyond the Ordinary

The opening day of Beyond the Ordinary was an amazing experience. Creating 24 pieces for a solo exhibition was like running a marathon. I was so happy to have one piece purchased by the Eurobodalla Shire Council. I sold half of the 24 pieces in the month.

The Saturday opening was full of happy people who enjoyed the show. I will treasure the opening day having my mum there was a very special thing. Not to mention family and friends.

I loved hearing that the library took a group of children into the gallery and they created some magpies with crowns. That is all that art is for me, anyone can do art. You just need to have a drive to want to. Then its all about doing the work.

I am so happy this piece was purchased by the Eurobodalla Shire Council.

I especially love watching the ravens in the paddocks. They are a little shy to visit the garden they usually keep their distance. Unlike the Christmas beetles that visit and enjoy eating the old gum trees around Christmas time.
